Yoga for eyesight improvement : Eyesight improvement exercise

 



In this article we will talk about "yoga for eyesight improvement". In worldwide there are 153 million people over five years of age are visually impaired as a result of uncorrected refractive error.
Refractive there are of three types of Myopia, Hypermetropia and Astigmatism. These refractive error can cause low eyesight, but there are too many ways to prevent from refractive error or to improve eyesight.


Yoga is also very important in terms of eyesight improvement.


So here we present Yoga for Eyesight Improvement


1. Eye rotation Side to side


- Best for who has myopia and hypermetropia

How to do

First sit down by folding your knees, keep your back and head in straight position. Now stretch your arm with close fist and thumb should be in upward direction and keep focusing on your thumb.
now bring your closed fist closer to your eyes between eyebrows. Now move your fist to the left side and your eyes must follow your fist and then back to the starting point, now move to the right side and repeat it.



2. Eye rotation Up and Down

- Relax the intraocular muscles

- Improve eye-sight

How to do

Sit on the floor with legs stretched out. Back and head should be in straight position place your both hand and on their respective knees. Now close your right fist and thumb should be placed in upward direction. Keep your gaze fixed on any of object which is present in front of you. Now exhale and take your gaze upward, keeping your head straight. now inhale and back your gaze in starting position. Now repeat this with left fist on your left thigh.



3. Eye rotation clockwise and anticlockwise

- It relax the muscles of eyes
- Good for those who spend more time on screen

How to do

Sit down by folding your knees with head and spine erect. Now lift your left hand straight with closed fist and thumb should be facing upward. now focus on your thumb and then move your hand clockwise and follow your thumb by your eyes. Repeat with another hand.



4. Palm rubbing

- Better for blood circulation in your eyes
- Keep away tiredness and puffiness

How to do

Sit in a normal or comfortable position. Start rubbing your palm against each other, vigorously. When it feels warm to you then place your both of the palms on your closed eyes and feel the warmth of your palm.

 




5. Trataka

- Improve concentration and vision
- Helps in high myopic patient

How to do

Shit down in normal position place a Pencil or Candle at two feet distance away from you. Now focus on candle flame or pencil's point without blinking. Try to maintain concentration as long as you can.
