There are two type of protein first one is Whey protein(animal protein) and second one is Soy protein(Plant protein).

1. Whey Protein 

Whey protein obtained from milk during the cheese making process. whey protein consist all nine essential amino acids.

It is low in lactose.

Whey protein helps in muscle building, muscle strength, improve athletic performance and helps in muscle recovery.

It also helps in weight loss and weight management.

Whey protein comes in three form 

1. Whey Concentrate- 60-80% protein and rest is carbs and fat

2. Whey Isolate- 90-95% protein and contains  low level of carbs and fat

3. Whey hydrolyses- It allows better absorption and digestion.

2. Soy Protein

Soy protein also known as plant based protein. 

Soy protein is made up from deffated  soybean flakes in which sugar and fibers are removed.

According to study it contains all essential amino acids. soy protein contains very low or zero cholesterol, good for one who is suffering from high cholesterol.

It does not contain lactose that's why it is good option for vegan.

Soy also rich in vitamin and minerals as well. It is also rich in antioxidant and support heart health.
