A study with 126 volunteers found that 40 min of yoga for a 5 days a week for 6 months can help in your periods.

3. Get enough vitamin daily

According to some research low level of vitamin D is linked to abnormal or irregular menstruation
by taking enough vitamin D may help to treat irregular menstruation.

Vitamin B may also help to treat premature dysmenorrhea but to claim this more research is needed to confirm.


4. Maintain healthy weight

Excessive changes in your weight, like weight gain(overweight) or weight lose (underweight) can also cause irregular menstruation.

Women who are overweighted are more likely to have abnormal menstruation, heavier cramps and bleeding than one who has healthy weight.


5. Eat healthy diet

Eating unhealthy food, like junk food, processed food and consumption of alcohol may also responsible for irregular menstruation. 

Include green veges, fruits, nuts, dairy products in your diet which helps you to treat or prevent irregular menstruation. 


6. Unripe papaya

Unripe papaya is well know to work on irregular menstruation. You can consume it for regular but do not consume it on the days of your periods. 


7. Turmeric

Turmeric is known for its medicinal properties. regular consumption of turmeric helps in balancing hormones and may treat your irregular menstruation. 

You can pour one tablespoon of turmeric in a glass of milk or water and then drink it.
