If you are about to fat loss but at the same time you are confused in between cardio or strength training that which one is better for fat loss.

So the question is that "Which is the better way for fat loss, strength training or cardio ?"

There are lots of answer present in the net about cardio and strength training but which one is more effective or accurate, here in this article we will try to figure out that which one is better for fat loss?

Strength Training - Strength training also known as resistance or weight training in which you can move your body against some resistance like free weight, body weight, resistance band, resistance machine.

E.g.,  Lunges, bench press, squat, dumbbell shoulder press, overhead press, skull crusher, and etc.

Cardio exercise - Cardio exercise also known as Cardiovascular exercise or aerobic exercise, during cardio exercise your heart rate get increased and made blood pump faster and deliver more oxygen throughout your body, which keeps your lungs and heart healthy. 

Which one is better for fat loss Cardio or Strength training ?

As we all know fat loss depends on more calories burn than your maintenance calories and the number of calories that your burn during workout depends on your body size and intensity of your exercise, in that case cardio help burn more calories than weight or strength training workout of the same time. 

But on the other hand strength training burn less more calories than cardio but strength training helps to gain more muscle mass, because the more muscle mass you have the more calories you burn at rest.

Over body Expand calories to recover after workout but weight training required more calories to recover than cardio exercise. 

 Understand by an example- if your burn 60 calories by jogging and another 60 to recover after cardio then your burn total 120 calories, and if you burn 30 calories by doing weight training but 170 calories to recover after workout then you burn total 200 calories which are more than cardio exercise. 

 So, in a nutshell Strength training is better than cardio for fat loss and for more better result you can perform cardio after your strength training.
