Dry skin condition is known as Xeroderma, it is marked by scaling, cracking and itching and its feel very uncomfortable. The most common cause of dry skin in winter is cold air, low humidity levels, dry indoor heat and winter wind can snatch your skin's moisture which results in dry skin.Â

6. Cracked skin
Cracked or chapped skin in winter are one of the most common skin problems which people have faced in winter session. Lips, chicks, fingers, heal and hands are more prone to cracking than any other body part because these are more exposed body part.
Treatment: Use petroleum jelly, stay hydrated, exfoliate cracked skin.Â
