Low blood sugar level also known as hypoglycemia, is a health condition in which your blood sugar level drop below 70 mg/dl. hypoglycemia is very common in India, records 1 million cases per year, but it can also treat by doing some modifications in your diet.Â
Should keep check your blood sugar level because it can be dangerous to left untreated.Â
Fasting blood sugar level (test blood sugar level after an overnight fasting):
- Normal blood sugar level: < 100 mg/dL (5.6 mmol/L)
- Low blood sugar level: < 70 mg/dL (3.9 mmol/L)
- High blood sugar level: in between 100 to 125 mg/dL (Considered as prediabetic) or                        > 125 mg/dL (diabetic)

What causes low blood sugar or hypoglycemia?
- Not eating proper or malnutrition
- Body releasing too much insulin after eating
- Not eating much carbohydrates
- Drinking alcohol
- Certain medication
